About Us
United Action Women and Girls (UAWG): Empowering Women, Building Bridges
United Action Women and Girls (UAWG) is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 by activist Fatuma Musa Afrah. Inspired by her own experience, UAWG empowers immigrant women and girls in the rural areas in Land Brandenburg.
Our vision is to contribute to a world where sisterhood solidarity unites women globally – sharing equal rights, ressources and power with men
Our mission is to support Newcomer women and girls in their personal development by teaching them in empowerment workshops in our Safer-Spaces on how to fulfill their basic needs and access education, employment and useful networks.
Our goal is to empower the Newcomer women and girls to strengthen their self-esteem, their consciousness about their basic human rights and their special contribution to society.
