Empowering Women, Building a Stronger Future
Since our founding in 2018 we’ve been dedicated to empowering immigrant women and girls in rural areas in Land Brandenburg.
Transforming challenges into opportunities
Our organization is built on a foundation of compassion, empowerment, and community. We strive to create a brighter future for migrant women, fostering a society where everyone can thrive regardless of their background.
Our vision is to contribute to a world where sisterhood solidarity unites women globally – sharing equal rights, ressources and power with men
Our mission is to support Newcomer women and girls in their personal development by teaching them in empowerment workshops in our Safer-Spaces on how to fulfill their basic needs and access education, employment and useful networks.
Our goal is to empower the Newcomer women and girls to strengthen their self-esteem, their consciousness about their basic human rights and their special contribution to society.
Building Bridges, Empowering Women
United Action Women and Girls (UAWG) is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for immigrant women and girls in rural areas in Land Brandenburg. Here’s how we achieve our goals:
We motivate women to discover and utilize their strengths, resources, rights and talents.
We raise awareness of cultural differences and promote tolerance and respect.
We raise awareness within the community about racism and actively work to dismantle it
Transforming Lives, Our Programs and Initiatives
Here’s how we create a safe and empowering space for immigrant women and girls
We offer a safe space where women and girls can connect, share experiences, and learn from each other.
We encourage open discussions on sensitive topics like health, family planning, and cultural norms.
Meeting spaces provide an opportunity to reflect on traditional norms and customs from their countries of origin.
